## 두 가지 방식으로 나누기

한 줄에 이름 하나씩 붙여넣은 다음, 어떤 방식으로 나눌지 선택하세요.

**그룹 수 기준.** 네 팀을 만들고 싶다는 것을 이미 알고 있는 경우입니다. 누가 어디로 갈지는 도구가 정합니다.

**그룹당 인원수 기준.** 테이블마다 다섯 명이 앉는다거나, 프로젝트에 세 명이 적당하다는 것을 이미 아는 경우입니다. 도구가 그룹 수를 계산합니다 — 남는 사람이 없도록 올림 처리합니다.

두 번째 방식은 사람들이 덜 찾지만 실제로는 더 필요한 방식입니다. 대개는 수용 인원이 진짜 제약 조건이고, 그룹 수는 그 결과일 뿐이기 때문입니다.

## 크기는 균형 있게 나옵니다

이 도구는 전체 목록을 섞은 다음, 카드를 돌리듯 그룹마다 이름을 한 명씩 순서대로 나눠줍니다. 일곱 명을 세 팀으로 나누면 **3 / 2 / 2**가 됩니다.

가장 단순한 방법 — 섞인 목록을 동일한 블록으로 자르고 남는 사람을 아무 데나 넣는 방식 — 은 3 / 3 / 1, 또는 남는 인원을 마지막 그룹에 몰아넣어 2 / 2 / 3이 됩니다. 순서대로 돌아가며 나눠주면 남는 인원이 딱 한 명씩만 분산되는데, 이것이 사람들이 “균등하게 나눠 달라”고 할 때 기대하는 결과입니다.

## 목록을 읽는 방식

한 줄에 이름 하나씩입니다. 한 줄에 적힌 `Novák, Jan`은 한 사람으로 유지됩니다 — 쉼표는 모든 내용이 한 줄에 있을 때만 구분자로 작동하는데, 이는 스프레드시트의 열이 아니라 행을 붙여넣었을 때 나타나는 형태입니다.

## 다시 나눈다고 두 사람이 확실히 떨어지지는 않습니다

나눌 때마다 새로 섞이므로, 버튼을 다시 누르면 다른 팀 구성이 나옵니다. 사람들은 원하지 않는 조합을 깨려고 이 방법을 자주 쓰지만, 같은 두 사람이 또 함께 묶이면 놀라곤 합니다.

수학은 냉정합니다. 특정 두 사람이 같은 그룹에 들어갈 확률은 나눌 때마다 매번 대략 **1을 그룹 수로 나눈 값**입니다.

네 팀으로 나눌 때 두 사람을 떼어놓으려고 다섯 번 다시 섞어도, 적어도 한 번은 함께 묶일 확률이 \*\*76%\*\*나 됩니다. 무작위성은 이전 시도를 기억하지 못하며, 누가 떨어져 앉아야 하는지에 대한 의견도 없습니다.

두 사람이 반드시 같은 그룹에 들어가면 안 된다면, 먼저 그 둘을 직접 배치하고 나머지 사람들에게만 도구를 사용하세요. 그것은 제약 조건이며, 셔플은 제약 조건을 위한 것이 아닙니다.
